Join us for an evening stroll around Southborough Common looking out and listening for bats.
See pipistrelles hunting for insects high up in the trees and pick them out in torchlight as they swoop down to the lower branches just above our heads! There’s a thriving bat population on the Common so we are bound to see some!
We can also take a trip down to Holden Pond to pick out Daubenton’s bats swooping over the surface of the water scooping up insects.
Meeting point to begin the walk is at St Peter’s Church Car Park (TN4 0RU) by the Nursery School at 8:15pm. Please wear some stout footwear and a torch.
