At the beginning of 2017 project partners Southborough Town Council (landowners and hosts), The Kent High Weald Partnership, The Southborough Society and The Southborough and High Brooms Amateur Archaeological Society (SHAAS) were successful in obtaining a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. This funded “The Secrets of Southborough Common” project whose main aim was to connect the local community with the heritage of Southborough Common through a series of events and practical conservation task days.
As end of the project approaches we invite you to come and see what we have achieved over the last three years, and learn more about this cherished greenspace through a free exhibition held at St Peter’s Church, TN4 0RU from 10am – 3pm.
There will be a guided circular walk starting at 1pm from the church.
