Kent High Weald Partnership have been working on the Common with our wonderful volunteers for six winter seasons now and we have followed the objectives set in the Management Plan agreed in 2012. It’s good practice to review management plans periodically and so we are updating the original Plan this summer which will direct future tasks on the Common.

An open consultation meeting has been arranged for 7pm, Thursday 31st May at the Parish Room , St Thomas Church, Pennington Road, Southborough TN4 0SH, where people will be able to give their views on past and future management of the Common which will help form the new Plan.

This will be a good chance to learn more about the Common as well as having your say in its future.
